Rotary Copenhagen is involved in a much-needed project in Mixco, Guatemala. There, we contribute to improved sanitation and increased water supply in an elementary school with 350+ students and 15 teachers. For further infor click on below buttom.
The Kitogani Teachers College and Kajengwa Community in Zanzibar have seen that impact firsthand. With the help of CIRC and community support, boreholes and water tanks were built, providing clean water to hundreds of people who previously had to walk long distances to fetch water.
The ceramic project is contributing on economic empowerment of survivors, as occupational therapy, form of socializing but also contributes directly in the change of position of survivors within their families and communities.
